Poltava regional division of the Civil Rights’ Movement of Oleg Riabokon reported on its achievements

Civi Rights’ Movement of Oleg Riabokon initiated its activities in Lubny, Poltava region on March 01, 2010. During the Statutory meeting the Poltava region division was established, Tetyana Alexeeva voted as the chairman of the divions by 4 its members.

To date the following meetings were held with different social groups in order to spread mission, vision, tasks of the Civil Rights’ Movement:

1.03.10 – meeting with the housing and communal services authotiries of Lubny city;
1.03.10 – meeting with representatives of NGO “Lubenske kozatstvo”;
3.03.10 – meeting with representatives of the Chernobyl cleanup veterans’ Union;
7.03.10 – meeting with Lubny city mayor – Mr. Koriakс;
7.03.10 – meetings with heads of street volunteers’ committee;
7.03.10 – meetings with members of the Organic farming Club (106 people);
10.03.10 – meeting with Union of mothers of large families and Women Council of Lubny cityс;
12.03.10 – meeting with Veterans’ Union and members of the Disabled War Veteran’s Union;
18.03.10 –meeting with employees of the Lubny sanitary and epidemiological service.

Also two volunteer clean-up were conducted by the Movement members in city parks  and were coincided with the Earth Day.

Within the “Children is our future” project 8 lectures on the harm of smoking, alcohol and drugs consumption were delivered to 9-11 forms’ pupils of the city schools.

Head of regional division and its members participated in the meetings dedicated to Taras Shevchenko anniversary, Chernobyl disaster anniversary, V-Day.

The best household plot contest initiated and 143 applications received. The first tour is finished and leaders identified. Contest results will be announced in September 2010.
